The biggest building for the jewish cult, the Great Synagogue in Moorish Revival style, is one of the buildings of Budapest with the greatest impact. It was built in 1859 and has a capacity of 3000 people. The structure with the copper dome is bordering the Hungarian Jewish Museum and right by the side of the Holocaust Memorial Tree sculpted by Imre Varga.
