Hungary's Healing Waters

Hungary’s mineral-rich thermal waters have been prized for centuries.

Here the earth’s crust is thinner, so waters gather more beneficial minerals as they journey to the surface. This, combined with an unusually high number of natural springs, has earned its capital Budapest the title of ‘International Spa City’.
In the 1800’s, the Omorovicza family took the first steps towards its future destiny by building the beautiful Racz Spa in Budapest, on the site of a medieval healing spring renowned for the curative properties of its water.
Some two hundred years later, descendant Stephen de Heinrich de Omorovicza and his future wife Margaret met in beautiful Budapest, where they indulged in the city’s famous thermal baths.

Fascinated by the healing effects of Hungary’s mineral-rich waters, Margaret and Stephen saw the potential to capture them in an innovative anti-ageing skincare range, and enlisted the help of a Nobel prize-winning team of scientists.
